S. L. Byers grew up in North Carolina, where she fell in love with YA books at an early age, especially fantasy and anything speculative. Creating imaginative worlds provides an escape from her boring desk job as a Healthcare Billing Specialist. During her free time, she enjoys dancing, baking/eating desserts, and taking walks outside (especially on a beach).
Mina B. Castillo
Mina B. Castillo, formerly Mina Brower, is Mexican-American author who immigrated from Mexico and aims to inspire other immigrants to chase their dreams. A wife, a mom, lawyer, and an equestrian, Mina is proud to live a life long dream of becoming an author. Her debut series, Daughters of Chaos, mixes her love of the sci fi, romance, and fantasy genres, and follows the trials of the three demi-god daughters of a villainous god set in a post-apocalyptic setting.
Gary Balanoff
Gary Balanoff began his career as a Florida journalist after graduating in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida. As the youngest Florida Capitol Bureau Chief, he reported on landmark events including the Ted Bundy murder trials, the first nine Space Shuttle launches, the 1980 Democratic National Convention, and powerful series on Florida's Death Row and domestic abuse.
After four decades in real estate—twenty of them as the founder and owner-broker of RE/MAX Select, one of Greater Orlando's top 1% offices—Gary is now embracing his third chapter: writing heartfelt romance novels that blend his storytelling passion with the depth of his life experiences.
